Party deposit is non-refundable. If cancelled 24 hours prior, a cancellation fee of $30 will be charged.
A reserved party may be rescheduled (upon availability) for another date at 4 weeks in advance without any additional fees. No refunds are considered for any reason within 2 weeks or less of pre-scheduled event.
Inclement Weather Policy - Please be advised that we will only consider rescheduling options if an official storm emergency is declared/mandated by the Broward County Emergency Management and any re-scheduled events will be subject to availability.
Our capacity is up to 75 including the staff.
All extra fees; children, adults, socks, time, etc. will be charged at the end of the party. (semi private party has restrictions)
Final payment is to be paid 1 week (7 days) before the event or a late fee will be applied of $20 per day.
Only one birthday child is admitted free of charge. All other children ages 1-13 count as guests (kids), mother and father count as guests (adults). Infants 11 months and under are not considered as an extra guest. It is important that you confirm the number of children who will be attending. Failure to do an accurate count may result in insufficient food order or place settings.
Customers can bring any decoration item or party supplies one business day before the party. We do not have a fridge. If you are bringing food, please make sure it is closed and keep in mind that the AC turns off during closed hours (over night). We are not responsible for food/decor stored at Playtown ahead of time.
No outside entertainment is permitted. A $30 fee will be applied for outside entertainment if approved. We will need the name of the company hired for entertainment. A fee of $100 will be charged if outside entertainment comes unannounced.
No fire or flammable items allowed in the venue.
Only kids who are present at the time of the party will receive their free pass.
Please arrive forty-five (45) minutes prior to your party. Those forty-five (45) minutes are provided for decorating (ONLY parents/guardians and their kids can come within that time with the exception of someone helping with decor). Guests are not allowed to enter until the set time of the party. Kids are not allowed in the play area 45 minutes prior to the party (in order to allow the staff member to organize toys for the party). The facility is scheduled for 3 hours. Upon the expiration of this three-hour time slot, the party Attendant will clean up the facility. Fifteen (15) minutes are given after the party is over for cleaning [If the fifteen (15) minutes are exceeded, you will be charged a fee of $100]. Additionally, if you need to use the facility/party room for extra time, please contact us at least five (5) days in advance to check availability and pricing.
The party staff is not in charge of helping with the decoration. If you are decorating yourself make sure to have family or a friend’s help. If you need any help with the decor, an extra staff member can be requested for an additional charge. Extra time to decorate can be added for an additional charge.
All party decor, balloons have to be removed after the party ends.
We have a helium tank. If you need to fill any balloons, ask the staff for pricing.
We offer a cart to help bring items back and forth to the car including the gifts.
The water is filtered water, no bottles, you can add bottles if you wish for an additional cost.
Peanut free facility.
Outside food is allowed, except pizza. If you wish to have pizza at your party, you can order it with us. We are partnered with Papa Johns.
No unprepared food. All foods need to be ready. No warmers or anything with fire.
Host is required to bring isolated material for hot trays. Any damage to the furniture is to be covered by the host.
We do not offer any bowls, trays, or supports for any outside food.
If you do not have a tablecloth for the cake table the cake can not be cut on the table due to the food coloring that tends to stain the table. If the cake has been cut on the table, the host is responsible for any stains/damages to the table.
The white paper goods included in the package are calculated to the number of guests and for the food we are providing. If you are bringing extra food, consider bringing extra paper goods.
We only have ice for the water and to drink with the sodas. Limited amount of ice.
Alcohol is permitted only during Private parties.
For the decoration, only packing tape can be used on the wood backdrop and/or table (not on the walls). Double face tapes can not be used under any circumstance.
Nothing can be stuck to any table.
We do not provide trays and displays, we have them for rent at an additional cost.
Host is responsible for any broken decor piece which will be charged at the end of the party.
Decoration, items on the table, and all other items like bowls, knives, and spoons are considered property of Playtown Museum. Please return any items removed from Playtown by mistake within the week of the party. After the week, the items will be charged to the host.
A regular and customary 15% service charge will be automatically added to the total. The service applied to the invoice is not a tip for the party host. If you would like to tip the party hosts please bring cash and tip them at the end of the party.
A Waiver is mandatory to be signed for the children attending by their parent or guardian. Parents and/or guardians must attend to their children at all times.
Children are required to wear non slip socks and adults must wear socks in the facility.
